(Bio)polymer/ZnO Nanocomposites for Packaging Applications: A Review

Summary

Zinc oxide nanoparticles are increasingly used in packaging nanocomposites, where they can improve both the gas barrier and the antimicrobial performance of a film. This review draws together the published evidence on (bio)polymer/ZnO systems, comparing how different production routes and formulations affect those two properties. Linari Nanotech appears in the comparative table of electrospinning equipment, alongside the fibre diameters obtained on each system.
