Heating needle system for melt electrospinning and high-viscosity solutions — reaches temperatures up to 250 °C.
TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED SPINNING WITH INTEGRATED SENSOR
The ceramic needle heating element consists of a perforated ceramic bar — with the needle screwed to one end and the tube connector to the other — plus a nozzle heater with a K-type thermocouple to measure the needle temperature in real time. The operator turns it on and off and sets the target temperature through the provided control panel.
WHAT IS IT FOR?
Melt electrospinning (spinning polymers from the melt instead of a solvent solution) and solutions whose viscosity is too high at room temperature. Heating the needle lowers viscosity at the tip for a stable jet. Designed to work with all electrospinning systems.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is melt electrospinning and when do I need heating?
In melt electrospinning the polymer is spun molten, with no solvent — safer and solvent-free, but it requires heating the needle above the polymer melting point. You also need heating for solution electrospinning of highly viscous or crystallizing polymers.
Is it compatible with my system?
Yes — the heating system is designed for all electrospinning setups and is controlled independently through its own panel.
