Set of three stainless steel cylindrical collectors, particularly suitable for producing tubular nanofiber structures at a range of small diameters.

HIGH SPEEDS WITHOUT DANGEROUS VIBRATION

Made of high-resistance hollow aluminum: weight and moment of inertia are reduced to the minimum, allowing high rotation speeds without triggering dangerous vibrations. Every collector comes with bare, non-anodized and untreated outer surfaces to reduce electrical resistance and keep the electric field uniform.

What are small-diameter cylinders used for?

They act as mandrels to collect tubular nanofiber constructs — for example vascular graft scaffolds, nerve guidance conduits and other hollow geometries. The fibers deposit around the rotating cylinder and are then slid off.

Why a kit of three diameters?

Different applications need different inner lumen sizes; having 0.8, 1.8 and 3 mm on hand covers the most common tubular scaffold dimensions without reordering.
