Why glass instead of disposable plastic syringes?
Glass is chemically inert with every electrospinning solvent, withstands the pressures of viscous solutions without deformation (which would alter the flow rate), and is reusable after cleaning — more accurate and more economical over time.
Do they fit standard syringe pumps?
Yes — both volumes fit standard syringe pump clamps, including our single-syringe pump. Connect them to the needle with Luer Lock PVC tubing or PTFE tube for aggressive solvents.
