Stainless Steel Plate Collector – AISI 316, for Random Nanofibers
Stainless Steel Plate Collector – AISI 316, for Random Nanofibers
Flat plate collector in polished AISI 316 stainless steel to collect mats of randomly oriented nanofibers.
HIGH STABILITY OF THE SUBSTRATE
Flat collectors create load-bearing support structures for the deposited nanofibers. The plates are made of polished AISI 316 stainless steel, chemically inert and easy to clean between depositions.
These plates are ideal when the nanofiber deposit must undergo subsequent chemical or heat treatments: the high stability of the substrate and the limited coefficient of thermal expansion of stainless steel reduce deformations to a minimum, minimizing the stresses applied to the nanofibers during processing.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Plate or drum: which collector do I need?
A static plate produces random (non-woven) nanofiber mats — the standard for filtration media and most scaffolds. For aligned fibers, use a rotating collector such as the Easy Drum with an aluminum drum.
How do I position the plate in the chamber?
Fasten it to a vertical support on a modular support plate: this keeps the needle-collector distance stable and repeatable between experiments.
