Steel Plate Collector

Plate collector to collect mats of randomised fibres.

HIGH STABILITY OF THE SUBSTRATE

The flat collectors can be used to create load-bearing support structures for the nanofibers produced. The foils are made of polished AISI 316 stainless steel.

These plates are ideal for submitting the deposit of nanofibers to subsequent chemical or heat treatments due to the high stability of the substrate.

In particular during heat treatments, the stainless steel provides a limited coefficient of thermal expansion thereby reducing to a minimum the deformations and therefore the stresses applied to the nanofibers.
