Syringe Electrical Insulation – up to 35 kV

Electrical insulation for your syringe pump, to safely apply high voltage up to 35 kV to the solution.

HIGH-TENSION INSULATION

To apply tension up to 35 kV to your pump, this syringe insulation is strongly recommended. For best performance, connect the pump to a needle on a dielectric support, using PVC tubes.

Standard dimensions are sized for the 10 mL glass syringe; contact us for different sizes. Syringe pump and syringes are not included.

COMPATIBILITY

Suitable for the single-channel syringe pump (BI-SEP-P300) and the remote-control syringe pump (BI-SEP-P1000).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I really need syringe insulation?

Whenever you apply the high voltage to the solution (rather than only to the collector) above ~25 kV: without insulation the voltage can track back to the pump electronics. Below 25 kV it is often optional; above it, strongly recommended.

Does it fit any syringe?

The standard version is sized for the 10 mL glass syringe. For other volumes, contact us with your syringe dimensions and we will advise.
