Technical advantages of the device
- Syringe pumps drawer: save space inside the chamber by placing the syringe pumps in the drawer below.
- Accessories cabinet: keep all your accessories in one place thanks to the cabinet below the drawer.
- High quality components: all the materials used have been carefully selected to avoid interference on the electric field between collector and needles for maximum control of the nanofiber deposition, avoiding waste and improving the morphology of the substrate.
- Reliability: the use of Omron Electronics industrial components for the control electronics guarantees the maximum reliability of the system also under heavy use conditions.
Safety
- Opening of the spinning chamber is blocked when high voltage is present.
- Control system for the automatic interruption of production in case of blackout or malfunction.
- System of active control to eliminate sparks and high voltage discharges.
Aligned or randomly oriented nanofibers
All In One lets you decide the architecture of the deposit, not just its material. Working at low collector speed the fibers land in a random, non-woven mat; increasing the rotation speed of the drum collector progressively stretches and aligns the fibers along the rotation direction, up to highly oriented arrays.
Aligned fibers matter whenever directionality drives function:
- Tissue engineering - guiding cell orientation and growth on nerve, tendon, muscle and vascular scaffolds.
- Sensors and electronics - anisotropic electrical and optical response along the fiber axis.
- Composites and filtration - directional mechanical reinforcement and controlled pore structure.
Because the collector is easy to replace and can rotate in both directions, you can move between random and aligned morphologies on the same machine, without reconfiguring your setup.
Options and upgrades: grow the machine with your process
All In One is designed to be expanded. The most requested upgrades:
XY gantry for needle positioning
A motorised gantry moves the emitter over the collector along a programmed path. Thanks to the G-code interpreter you can draw the desired trajectory in a CAD program, while the CSV interpreter lets you build work programs simply through a spreadsheet. This gives you deposits with uniform, controlled thickness, repeatable coverage over large areas and the ability to set and vary the needle-to-collector distance during the run - useful when a longer flight path is needed for solvent evaporation. The gantry works with a plate collector and, as an option, with an insulated drum unit in either vertical or horizontal configuration, for random or aligned fibers.

Roll-to-roll collector
Replaces batch collection with a continuous web: the substrate unwinds, passes in front of the emitters and rewinds already coated, handling substrates up to 300 mm high. It's the natural step from a laboratory sample to continuous production of membranes and coated supports, and the first move towards pilot and industrial throughput.
External air treatment unit (AHU)
Electrospinning is highly sensitive to temperature, relative humidity and solvent vapour. An external air treatment unit conditions the air entering the chamber and extracts solvent-laden air, so your process behaves the same in July and in January. It is the single most effective upgrade for day-to-day reproducibility and for safe work with volatile solvents.
These options can be combined, and can be added later on a machine already installed - together with coaxial needles, multi-needle emitters, ventilation and temperature control.
Not sure how your material should be spun?
Describe your polymer and target fiber, and our AI assistant will suggest the process parameters to start from - solvent system, voltage, flow rate, distance and collector setup.
Which complete system fits your project?
All In One sits in the middle of our range: more capable than a benchtop station, more accessible than an industrial line. Every Linari machine is delivered as a complete, ready-to-run system - chamber, generator, pumps, needles and collectors included - so the choice is only about scale and level of control.

All In One Modular R&D platform |
40 kV, multiple collector types, syringe pump drawer. Roll-to-roll up to 300 mm, XY gantry and external air treatment unit can be added later, on a machine already installed. |
|
Starter Kit - random / aligned Complete entry point |
The most accessible complete stations: 40 or 60 kV generator, pump, needles and syringes, with a static collector for non-woven mats or the rotary system for aligned fibers and tubular structures. |
|
Compact Unit Uniform membranes, small footprint |
The spinneret moves while the collector rotates, so thickness is uniform along a collector up to Ø80×300 mm. Choose it if space and budget matter more than modularity. |
|
Gantry 3D Spin Programmed precision |
G-code control of the emitter path from CAD, or CSV from a spreadsheet, with adjustable needle-collector distance during the run. For patterned scaffolds and melt electrospinning writing. |
|
RT Advanced / Pilot Spinner Industrial |
Up to 8 materials at once with controlled atmosphere and unattended production, or a drum collector up to Ø250×600 mm when what you need is quantity per batch. |
Complete your All In One setup: coaxial needles for core-shell fibers, collectors of every geometry, syringe pumps and heating needle systems for melt electrospinning.

Frequently asked questions
Can All In One produce aligned nanofibers?
Yes. Using the rotating drum collector at high speed the fibers are drawn and aligned along the rotation direction, while at low speed you obtain a randomly oriented non-woven mat. You can switch between the two by changing the operating settings, on the same machine.
I have an Electro-spinner 2.0 - is it still available?
The Electro-spinner 2.0 is no longer in production. All In One is its successor: it covers the same laboratory needs with a 40 kV built-in generator, interchangeable flat and drum collectors and a modular upgrade path (roll-to-roll, XY gantry, air treatment unit). If you are citing an existing Electro-spinner 2.0 in a paper, keep the original model name and add Linari Engineering S.r.l., Pisa, Italy; if you are replacing it, talk to an R&D expert and we will match your current configuration.
What is the XY gantry for?
It is a motorised system that moves the needle over the collector along a programmed path, defined through a G-code interpreter from CAD or through a CSV file from a spreadsheet. It gives uniform and controlled deposit thickness, repeatable coverage over large areas, and lets you set the needle-to-collector distance during the process. See the Gantry 3D Spin system.
Can I produce continuous membranes with a roll-to-roll system?
Yes. The roll-to-roll collector unwinds a substrate, coats it in front of the emitters and rewinds it, handling substrates up to 300 mm high and turning batch collection into continuous production of membranes and coated supports.
Why would I need an external air treatment unit?
Because temperature, humidity and solvent vapour strongly affect fiber morphology. An external air treatment unit conditions the incoming air and extracts solvent-laden air, making results reproducible throughout the year and improving safety with volatile solvents.
Can I add these options later?
Yes. All In One is modular: XY gantry, roll-to-roll, air treatment unit, coaxial and multi-needle emitters, ventilation and temperature control can be installed on a machine already in operation.
Is there a smaller or more accessible complete system?
Yes. The Compact Electrospinning Unit is the smallest complete system producing both random and aligned fibers, and the Electrospinning Starter Kits are the most accessible complete stations - all delivered ready to run, with generator, pump, needles and collector included.
How do I know if my material can be electrospun?
You can ask espin.ai for a starting set of process parameters, or have our laboratory in Pisa run a feasibility test on your actual material and characterize the fibers by SEM before you decide.
What voltage and collectors does the machine use?
All In One has a built-in 40 kV high voltage generator; the collector is insulated from ground and can be connected to a second generator up to +/- 60 kV. Flat and drum collectors are easily interchangeable and rotate in both directions.
